Connemara Producers Group is a joint venture between three long-established and leading Irish seafood companies, all of whom have an affiliation with the West of Ireland region called Connemara: 

These companies are already leaders in their sectors and have formally agreed to come together to research a number of key international markets with a view to implementing a coordinated market entry. The group wish to examine market opportunities in China, USA and Eastern Europe. The companies are located in the West of Ireland and operate from state-of-the-art processing plants, have access to sustainable raw material, operate a total quality management system, have total traceability of the product and export almost 100% of their output to global markets.

The two companies’ product portfolio include smoked salmon, herring, mackerel, mussels, brown crab and oysters. The group will pool their resources to explore new product development in association with the Bord Iascaigh Mhara R&D centre in Clonakility.

Connemara Producers Group has established new sales offices in Qingdao, China and also in the USA.
